The high productive honeybee strain, registered by MDARES, was released by non-exclusive license for beekeepers in 2012. The honeybee strain was estimated up 3 to 5% of honey productivity than local honeybee strains. The queen-breeding system reveals specific based methods, with honey production records, healthy colony management, virus free and low pest infect rates examinations. After long-term screening, inappropriate beehives were eliminated during the breeding season. In addition, to ensure quality queens the sufficient drone were provided for mating. This achievement is to provide high-yielding honey queens for beekeepers and enhance the competitiveness of the domestic beekeeping industry.
