The improvement of production techniques of Lycium chinense Miller and Taxillus liquidambaricolus

Date:2014-09-19

We crossed non-thorn Lycium(♀) with leafy Lycium(♂) and obtained 65 cross combinations , then get 26 fruits (yield rate 40%), and leafy Lycium(♀) with non-thorn Lycium((♂) and obtained 124 cross combination , 84 fruits were harvested (yield rate 67.7%). The characteristic of thorn can be differentiated between thorn and non-thorn. Then distinguish into much and less, long and short. The resistance to gall is in accordance with the percentage of damage of leaf area by number of galls; 5 degrees level (from 1 to 5) are defined. Taxillus liquidambaricolus (Hayata) bloomed after 31 months seeds inoculation on the branches of mulberries and borne fruits 33 months later. Taxillus liquidambaricolus (Hayata) was treated with plant growth hormone, and the growth rate was investigated. The growth rate of treated group is faster than control group.
