The research of intergrated control technology for diseases and pest insects of strawberry in greenhouse

Date:2014-06-16

The study was aimed at the survey of diseases and insects of strawberry in screen house and their integrated control techniques. The density of insects of strawberry, two-spotted mite and thrips was surveyed at different growth stages. The predators of these two insects, two-spotted spider mite and orius flower bugs were released in the early growth stage. The results showed that the density of two-spotted mite was 85 larvae/leaf in the early growth stage and 1.03 larvae/leaf after the predator was released. The damage of thrips on fruits of strawberry was not serious in January. The density of thrips was up to 6.9 larvae/fruit in the late growth stage on March while it was not serious in the early growth stage. The powdery mildew and botrytis fruit diseases were investigated in this study. The alternative spraying method of emulsified sunflower oil and Mandarin orange liquid were done on strawberry every week from the early growth stage. The severity of powdery mildew was increased in the middle growth stage. The incidence of botrytis fruit was positively related to temperature. It was up to 32% when temperature was high in the middle growth stage. The alternative spraying method was effective to control the two diseases. The screening of pesticides was selected by culture media experiment. Two pesticides, Difenoconazole and Pyraclostrobin were effective at recommended times. Thiabendazole + Oxine copper would be significantry effective over 600X dilution.
